Mine has a line with a vacuum breaker (the thing on the line) on it that is used as the float bowl vent/overflow. The open end just hangs under the machine. There are several other vent tubes for the fuel ...I have a 2005 Sportsman 500 HO that has 2 hoses (breather hoses it looks like) that I am having trouble figuring out where the were. I took apart the front end of the ATV to look at the steering column due to crooked handlebars. One larger and one smaller diameter clear hoses about 18" in length.
