Corruption need to stack sentience charge. Purity need to have constant purity buff on weapon. Apparently it does, but only on buffed weapons, not with inert purity. Incorrect. It buffs white damage just the same as with elemental buffs. Only difference is purity does not add secondary elemental damage so overall the damage is slightly lower, but your white damage numbers get buffed with purity just the same as with fire, water, electric.Tonfa doesn't really have a good parry. Most weapons don't. It's really just Katana, Dual, Spear and Kusarigama.
