But the thing I like about the Collins vs Elliot Elite is the smoothness of the thumb screw motion. The Collins has higher threads per inch than the screw on the Elliott which makes it operate much smoother. Does the Kat Eyez have a smooth tightening action?
I have a Kat Eyz capo (serial number 1, no less) and I think it is the best I ever used. If price is the issue, a Paige is good as well. However, when you consider how much we spend on a top end banjo, a $100 capo doesn't seem all that unreasonable.
