I tried to reset the memory but it made a few beeps and went dead. Now it doesn't even want to latch. I opened the center panel cover in the tailgate and tried using a screwdriver to move the latch bar.Solution #3: Inspect the trunk cables. Manually open the Outback’s trunk.
