Apr 17, 2017 · 2004 - 2008 Ford F150 - Door Ajar - hi, i have a 2006 ext cab f150. a few months ago the door ajar light and alarm started going off randomly when i was driving. i took it to mechanic they took a look at all wires in the boot and nothing is broken, they also lubbed up the latch and everything. the sound and alarm... You will probably have to remove the 3 screws that hold the latch to the door. Makes access to the switch easier. Also the rear window track may need to be removed and pulled out of the way. Even with all this, it should take only about 30 minutes to do. ….
