by far the best place is teliths island imo. tons of rock, trees, and iron right beside you, between you and new asgarth is a ton of elk king for food. pop down an elevator on the rock face going into the desert and you are like 1-2 minutes away from dry wood, coal, and good slave farming spots. You're in the north so new asgarth for steel/exp ...You want either 40 or 50 vit depending on personal preference. For pve I'd recommend 40 vit 50 str. Every armor set is good, it just depends on what you want. For the base game armor, well, I always go with light or medium Vanir armor coz it looks cool af and gives Grit.Theres a total of 5 different buff fishes that you can get that will give you +3 for everything but encumbrance, and survival. Rhino head soup can also be made for +3 encumbrance thats retrieved by getting the 1 skull boss rhinos head, and making it with some soup. Therefore you should be at least around lvl 10 when you can start making iron stuffs and obviously build near iron. The fastest leveling this patch is journeys first then exploration.
