Batman Arkham Knight still holds up graphically. Recently built a new PC and have been installing random old games to either play through or test out with max settings (first time I played through a lot of these I had to make compromises with settings). Decided to boot up Batman Arkham Knight and, wow, this game is visually stunning. Batman Arkham Asylum: A superhero classic worth playing even today. In the era of the late 2000's, getting a great superhero game was but a dream. Then Rocksteady Studios stepped up. This is a superhero game where Batman is trapped in an insane asylum/prison island and has to stop Joker. A simple description but a great experience.

Batman Arkham series has some of the best combat ever designed, with insane depth, enemy variety and replayability (I could write pages on this topic).Arkham Knight’s combat is incredibly slick, but Arkham City is honestly the perfect Batman video game. It’s got the best pacing for changing up the gameplay, the environment is the most interesting to explore, and the characterizations are all pitch-perfect. Knight is objectively the best one gameplay wise.
