Jul 3, 2020 · The guide is positioned correctly. When I put the takedown lever horizontal, I can lift the side release and the mag safety clicks in. Have tried many suggestions but when takedown lever is moved back to 7 o'clock position, about five o'clock the safety for mag disengages. The takedown lever is a beast. I was in the same situation as you. New 365 owner, took out the FCU to clean around a bit, and parts started falling right out. But I was pulling the trigger which I believe made the one pin fall out and then it was comically downhill from there (the takedown lever was next, then the safety lever, etc.).SO. If this is the status of your P365 in that you cannot remove the Slide hopefully removing the Striker will allow the Slide to slide forward and off of your P365. Check out the 2nd video that I posted above.. Go to 3 minutes in and that is your Slide Plate removal. It is the newest version.

Same when you assembly it back - lever has to be fully rotated. And obviously, the magazine has to be removed first, per the manual indication.
